"Endhiran experience and my cameo appearance"

 Actor Raahgav, who is a leading Television star, did a cameo appearance in the just released "Endhiran : The Robot". He is very upbeat about his role in the movie and re-lives the experience acting in the movie.

Work in Endhiran

Have made a cameo appearance in the film Endhiran where I've shared screen space with two of the icons of Indian Film Industry -- Superstar Rajnikant and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.  Shot in Chennai and Pune for 18 days for the film.  My hairstyle, look, costume and performance in the film have been well appreciated and recognized which has been quite a pleasant surprise for me.

During the shoot director Shankar and superstar Rajnikant encouraged me a lot and praised my work a lot. Infact, in the scene where I play loud music in the house, the superstar applauded and hugged me after the take which will be a very precious memory for me.

Working with stunt choreographer Peter Hein master along with a group of International Stunt Artistes from France and Vietnam in the fight sequence set inside an electric train in Pune was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

My phone hasn't stopped ringing and my facebook is flooded with congratulatory messages since the release of the film which only reinforces the great reach and success of the film.

Previous Films

Previously I worked in films such as Silambattam, Saththam Podathey, Vattaram, Chakravyugam, Jery, Yai! Nee Romba Azhagaa Irukkey.

In Silambattam I portrayed a hot-tempered village rowdy who has an opinion clash with the hero, Simbu.  In this film too my performance and look were well received.

I played the role of a loving and caring brother (to Padmapriya) in the film Saththam Podathey directed by Vasanth.  This was a very new-age portrayal of a brother who wants his sister to get a divorce from her troubled psychotic husband.  After getting a divorce, he wants her to move on with her life and find love again.  I still keep receiving mails and calls from fans who tell me they wish they had a loving brother like I was in the film.

Music

I co-composed the song "Oru Kadhal Vandhucho" in the film "Yai! Nee Romba Azhagaa Irukkey", sung by Shankar Mahadevan.  Incidentally, this was the first film that I acted in too.  Director Vasanth introduced me as an actor and as a music director in the film.

Current Projects

Currently I've acted as hero, done the music and also produced a film called "Nanju Puram".  This film stars Monika as the heroine.  The village based thriller is now complete and is releasing by year end.

I'm very glad that the popularity I received from dance reality shows such as "Rani 6 Raja Yaaru", "Jodi No 1", "Maanaada Mayilaada" have given me a great platform which has led to my breaks in the film industry.
